Jun 27, 2010 - @Kwinnky no I am not "outright lying now" i haven't lied at all. you have been providing nothing BUT MISINFORMATION and i have been correcting your mindless uneducated nonsense at every turn and every time I do you make the bullshit comment "its irrelevant" when you make an inaccurate statement and i correct it its not irrelevant to the conversation because now it is part of the conversation especially if it pertains to the validity of the argument being made.
karn33333 Says:
Jun 27, 2010 - @Kwinnky "The definitions you gave don't contradict each other." i never said they did contradict each other this is an example of a strawmans argument, an example of your inability to comprehend what you read, and an example of you providing misinformation. what i said was that by the very definition of both words they can't be the same thing. since the definition of disease is a pathological condition and a mental disorder has no pathology based on the very definitions they cannot be the same
Kwinnky Says:
Jun 27, 2010 - @karn33333 This conversation has overshadowed the other comments, and the erased comments mean that people are getting annoyed by our various conversations. I'll just ask one last question, the one you said you wanted to get back to: How is marital rape grey rape? Until you want to answer that question without profanity filled ad hominems, I'll be off.
karn33333 Says:
Jun 27, 2010 - @Kwinnky first of all i haven't made any mistakes. this is why i keep calling you stupid because i have to repeat the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, AND YET YOU ARE TO FUCKING STUPID TO READ IT AND UNDERSTAND IT EVEN AFTER THE 10TH (LITERALLY) TIME. so i will say it one more time I HAVE GOTTEN BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL QUESTION I SPENT MANY SPENT OVER 5 COMMENT BOXES EXPLAINING IT, YOU HAVE YET TO MAKE ONE SINGLE COMMENT PERTAINING TO ANYTHING I SAID IN THAT SERIES OF POST.
karn33333 Says:
Jun 27, 2010 - @Kwinnky WHEN YOU FINALLY DO MAKE A COMMENT PERTAINING TO MY ORIGINAL ANSWER I WILL RESPOND TO EVERY ISSUE YOU HAVE, AS I HAVE RESPONDED TO EVERY SINGLE COMMENT YOU HAVE MADE SINCE THIS CONVERSATION STARTED. LIKE I SAID LEARN TO READ THEN GET BACK TO ME.
karn33333 Says:
Jun 27, 2010 - @Kwinnky no thats not what erased comments mean. first of all from what i have seen ALL the comments are still there (i just breifly looked for them and found them) you are just not smart enough to use click on a number, a next button, or ALL COMMENTS button near the bottom of the page. what people? this is owned by penn jellete. you don't even know what an ad hominem is you keep using the word wrong and giving the wrong definition for it. so how would you know if my comments had it or not?
karn33333 Says:
Jun 27, 2010 - @Kwinnky I don't give a rats ass if you like profanity or not, or what you call profanity. I don't tell you what words you should use don't tell me what words I can use. I already answered your question if you do not want to read it right the first time thats on you. now you will have to (heaven forbid) do a little work in finding the original comments and actually having to read what it says not what you think it says just because you skimmed it and decided for your self what it said.

Jul 1, 2010 - Deuteronony 21:14- "you shall not mistreat her" Don't forget this.
Auslander999 Says:
Jul 2, 2010 - Sounds like the bible condones : It puts the lotion on it's skin, or else it gets the hose again! (without the context of the movie, that the maniac in it skins the women) but within the context the woman is humiliated and bemoans for her family in the pit for awhile before forced into something she obviously doesn't wanna do.
Auslander999 Says:
Jul 2, 2010 - @kornykorhorn Which man written version is this? The KJV says NO such thing. So Penn is correct. 14 only says if the guy doesn't delight in her (maybe she's a total dog), then he is free to let her go. He's not allowed to pimp her out either because she's been humiliated (it says humbled, right) enough (shaven and held captive).
kornykorhorn Says:
Jul 2, 2010 - @Auslander999 it is the Hebrew translation.
kornykorhorn Says:
Jul 2, 2010 - @Auslander999 I think....blahhh, nevermind. Don't see a point in discussing it. I don't use the KJV, as it is written in the 1600s & our culture is vastly different from King James' culture. Today, Bible scholars don't use the KJV as their source, we use the original languages. On a funny note, I had a guy come up to me once and insist that the Apostle Paul, used the KJV. I corrected him & he thought I was nuts for asserting that Paul used the Greek.
kornykorhorn Says:
Jul 2, 2010 - @Auslander999 mistreat ('anar)- to manipulate, deal tyranically, to treat as a slave. You may see a contradiction if you want to see one. But how would a person contradict themself in the same paragraph? I think there is a lot in the passage, by way of culture, and meaning of the text that some do not understand.
Auslander999 Says:
Jul 2, 2010 - @kornykorhorn The reply to you was made within the parameters of Penn's video context and the information used to convey his opinion. He used the KJV. So now the bible is written for modern times to jazz it up and get away from the Elizabethan text? Just a question of curiosity. Culture or not, many xtians dangerously cherry pick what and what not to use. As for your story, yes, that is pretty funny. Warm & kind regards.

Jul 2, 2010 - Mastrabate with a crusifix LOL!!!! I agree with this video(although on some of your other video's are pretty extreme).
digger316 Says:
Jul 7, 2010 - @Auslander999 Don't forget the whole taking her part. I know a lot of women who'd rather be bald prisoners. than be raped.

Jul 8, 2010 - Penn. I am a christian, im studying to be a minister. Your videos challenge my faith, and my understanding of the word of God. They cause me to LOOK deep into what i believe...thank you. Because of your you, i am more sure now than ever about what i believe in. I appreciate your open-mindedness at times towards the christian faith, and how you seemingly always try to be fair and not put words in people's mouths. I've used your "gift of a bible" video many times in Evangelism messages.
sendme68 Says:
Jul 8, 2010 - Penn, you have to be careful about "cherry picking" scriptures. I appreciate your interest in being a knowledgeable debater and that you've read the Bible 3 times. That is truly commendable. We need to make sure were not taking this scripture out of context, and that we're studying this whole chapter, and obtaining a greater understanding of this culture and the book of Deut. as a whole.
HushAndLearn Says:
Jul 8, 2010 - Christianity is more towards Jesus and new testament since the law was introduce by Moses and the Grace by Jesus, meaning Jesus is giving the real sense of the law so we can see the value of the cross. Atheists pretty often ignore the new testament for the most as Penn just show.
penn919 Says:
Jul 12, 2010 - @kornykorhorn Right...yet you still get to hold her captive, shave her head, and force her into marriage....but no worries. All the while I bet they always remembered not to "mistreat" her. I don't know about you, but I think they fell short of "not mistreating her" at some point between slaughtering her family and kidnapping her. What a joke.
harleykman Says:
Jul 13, 2010 - @sendme68 Bullshit. Even if you read the whole Deuteronomy book, it still doesn't justify enslaving a woman & raping her in this fashion . Unless of course you consider women to be property, as that ancient culture did .
AfterFauve001 Says:
Jul 16, 2010 - many of the biblical laws (regarding war) tried to measure out justice in what was an extremely unfair situation. - had nothing to do with god or gods. for the record I'm a nature worshiping pagan. and I believe in the death penalty for extremely severe crimes. don't see a cause for justifiable rape, so if someone can do such a thing unrepentant, best practice natural selection and remove them from the gene pool.
sendme68 Says:
Jul 16, 2010 - @harleykman ...harleykman. The first thing you chose to say ended any possible attempt at an intellegent or civilized debate. Thats disappointing. I do know what i'm saying, i wouldnt have just said it for no reason, you didn't even try to get where i was coming from.
SenorZorrozzz Says:
Jul 30, 2010 - Now do you REALLY believe that Christians want rapists castrated? Beaten? Raped? No. The idea of the law is to protect the public as well as punish the law breaker. Eye for an eye was part of the old test. law. The situation that they were living in was unusual. So was the goal of recapturing the Canaan Land. The bible is to be taken as a whole. There is mercy in the bible.
karn33333 Says:
Jun 27, 2010 - @Kwinnky "A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena." Huge fucking difference from hypothesis. there are tons of examples i can give between legal dictionaries, medical dictionaries, scientific dictionaries vs normal english dictionaries. there are reasons the same company will make legal, medical, and regular dictionaries.
